Copilot changes every month. So does this course.

25 short modules, from a first useful prompt to Word, Excel, Teams, agents and Cowork. Every lesson is checked against Microsoft's own pages and names the licence it needs, so your people learn the Copilot on their screen.

The short answer

What makes Copilot training stick?

Teaching the version people actually have, on the work they already do, and checking they can do it. Microsoft shipped 44 new features between 23 September and 27 October 2026, so a course recorded last spring already shows old buttons.

Train Space's Copilot course is dated, sourced and updated as Microsoft ships, with a scored check after every module.

When Microsoft ships

A new button on Tuesday.
A new lesson after review.

Copilot is a moving target: features get renamed, move between licences, leave preview or retire. A recorded course can't follow that. This one is built to.

Microsoft 365 Copilot: 44 new features between 23 September and 27 October 2026.

01CHANGE SPOTTED

Release notes, into a queue.

Microsoft's Copilot release notes and roadmap feed a review queue.

03KEPT HONEST

45 days, then recheck.

A Copilot lesson whose sources haven't been rechecked in 45 days fails the build. It can't ship stale.

For the people rolling Copilot out

Licences bought.
Now make them worth it.

What IT, L&D and team leads get beyond the lessons.

01 / WHICH COPILOT

The licence on every lesson.

People learn what their own licence includes, so nobody hunts for a button they don't have.

02 / SAFE USE

What can go into Copilot.

A core module on what's safe to put into Copilot, and another on telling preview from released.

03 / PROOF

Who is current, today.

Scored checks, a credential per person, and a record managers can export.

Ask your question

What is the best way to train employees on Microsoft Copilot?

Teach the version they have, on the work they do. Start with which Copilot each person has and what is safe to put into it, then one app at a time on a real task, then agents and Cowork for the people ready for them. Check each skill, and update the lessons when Microsoft ships, because Copilot changes every month.

Is Microsoft Copilot Academy enough?

It is free and teaches Copilot well. It doesn't score a check on each skill, cover the other AI tools your teams use, or give you a dated record of who is current. Many companies use it as reading and Train Space for the practice, the check and the record.

Which Copilot licence does each lesson need?

Every feature card names the licence Microsoft says it needs, from Copilot Chat, which is free with a work account, to the Microsoft 365 Copilot licence and features billed in Copilot Credits. The full list of 106 cards is public on the Copilot features page.

How is the Copilot course kept up to date?

Microsoft's release notes feed a review queue and a person rewrites each change. Copilot lessons cite Microsoft's own pages and must be rechecked every 45 days, or the build fails. The whole course is dated: as of 30 October 2026.

Does it cover Copilot agents and Cowork?

Yes. The advanced modules cover which agents you can use, building your own agent, what you can safely let Cowork do for you, and telling preview features from released ones.

What do people get at the end?

A credential, "Current with Microsoft Copilot", for completing every core module, with a public verification link and an Add to LinkedIn button. Managers see who is current and can export the record.
