Train Space vs a one-off AI workshop
Checked 4 November 2026
A workshop or lunch-and-learn teaches the tool as it was on the day. Microsoft shipped 44 new Copilot features in five weeks this autumn, so a session from last spring already shows old buttons and misses most of what people pay for. Train Space keeps the lessons current as the tool changes and checks each person can still do the work.
| a one-off AI workshop | Train Space | |
|---|---|---|
| What people learn | The tool as it was on the day of the session | The tool as it is this week |
| After the session | Slides and a recording | New lessons when the tool changes, and a What's new feed |
| Proof of skill | Attendance | A scored check on each skill |
| Cost shape | A one-off fee per session | Per seat per year, after a free evaluation |
Pick a one-off AI workshop if
- You need a kick-off moment to get people excited.
- A small team that will learn the rest on its own.
Pick Train Space if
- You've run a workshop and usage dropped off within weeks.
- You need to show who is trained, not who attended.
Questions
Is one AI training session enough?
Usually not. In BCG's 2025 survey only 36% of employees said their AI training was enough, and people with more than five hours of training were more likely to be regular users (79% against 67%).
